Global Warning

A climate expedition
around the world

What is the story of Global Warning?

Children embark on a global expedition as the crew of a research vessel to explore the causes and effects of climate change – and how they can fight it.

Throughout the journey, they take on different roles, conduct research, perform measurements, and develop action plans – all with a strong emphasis on creativity and teamwork. Along the way, they learn about effective climate protection practices from various regions around the world.

By encountering successful solutions and adaptation strategies, students gain valuable knowledge while sharpening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills – helping them lay the foundation for a more sustainable future.

Activities

  • Conducting science, data and role-based research, developing strategies to distinguish credible sources from misinformation
  • Presenting research to propose solutions for specific environmental challenges
  • Vector design and 3D design, printing relevant objects for sustainability challenges
  • Documenting and presenting environmental research findings
  • Building and coding measurement tools to assess environmental factors such as temperature, air quality, and pollution levels

Main technologies used:

vector design + coding + 3D printing

See it in action

Embark on a Global Warning adventure!

In the Global Warning course, students set sail on a research expedition around the world to uncover the challenges of climate change. By taking on different roles, they learn to investigate pressing global issues – from ocean acidification to urban air pollution – and discover how science, creativity, and technology can help us protect our planet’s future.

Global Warning

Teaching kids about climate change to urge action, not fear

Ninety-six percent expressed a clear desire to study global issues in school and more than 70% said they would like to pursue a career where they can make a positive contribution to solving these issues.
